Microsure develops MUSA-3, a robot-assisted microsurgery system that scales and tremor-filters a surgeon's joystick movements. Surgeons can keep using their own microsurgical instruments on the platform, which is designed for connecting very small blood, lymph and nerve vessels. The company is based at Science Park Eindhoven in the Netherlands and holds ISO 13485:2016 certification. MUSA-3 has received CE mark approval, and the company is pursuing FDA clearance in the United States. Microsure was founded in 2016 by Eindhoven University of Technology and Maastricht University Medical Centre. Its Series B2 round in October 2023 secured €38 million, and its customers are hospitals and plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
