Privacy
and cookies
I never sell your data. This page says what Robotics Connected keeps and why, so you can decide for yourself.

Your choice about analytics cookies
Two tools set cookies, and they only load after you say yes: Google Analytics (counts visits and pages) and Microsoft Clarity (a recording of clicks, scrolling and pages, so I can see where the site confuses people). Neither is used for advertising, and nothing you type into a form is recorded.
Saying no changes nothing about how the site works. A “no” is remembered, a “yes” is asked again after six months, and you can change your answer at any time.
What the site keeps on your device
These stay in your browser and are not cookies. They are what make the site remember you, and they are never sent anywhere unless said below.
- Your edition: the sections, fields, places and levels you chose, so the front page is yours.
- Saved roles and events, companies you follow, recently viewed items, and which roles you opened.
- Your email settings, display theme, chosen filters and views, and your cookie answer.
- A random anonymous id, used to tell repeat visits apart in the site’s own counts (below).
Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.
Counting that uses no cookies
The site counts page views and a few actions (such as saving a role or clicking Apply) in its own database, using the anonymous id above and nothing else about you. It also uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. These run whatever you choose about analytics cookies, and none of them identify you.
If you give me your email
If you sign up for the Monday dispatch or a job alert, I store your email address and the preferences you chose (fields, places, sections), so the email can be written for you. Each email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops it. Emails are sent through a mail provider that handles them on my behalf. Links in the email are tracked to see which stories are read; they identify the email, not you as a person.
If you submit a company, an event or feedback, I keep what you wrote, and your email if you left one, so I can review it and reply.
Other services the pages call
Maps and place search are provided by Mapbox, and sign-up forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. They receive your browser’s connection details (such as your IP address) when they load, as any website you visit does. Company logos and photos may load from the companies’ own sites.
Your rights and how to reach me
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything I hold about you, or object to how I use it, by emailing olivier.ayache@roboticsconnected.com. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
I will update this page if what the site does changes.
