Flyability is a Swiss company that designs collision-tolerant drones for inspecting confined and hard-to-reach indoor spaces. Its flagship Elios 3 platform carries payloads for ultrasonic thickness measurement, radiation detection, surveying and gas sensing, alongside tether power units, cloud data management and autonomy software. The company sells mainly into industrial sectors such as oil and gas, power generation, chemicals, mining, maritime and sewers, helping customers avoid scaffolding, confined space entry and work at height. It also supports public safety and search and rescue teams. Founded in 2014 as a spin-off from EPFL, Flyability is headquartered in Paudex near Lausanne, with offices in Denver, Shanghai and Singapore. Its drones have shipped to customers in dozens of countries.
