Flexion is a Zurich-based startup building the autonomy software stack for humanoid robots. Its platform covers command, manipulation and locomotion, and is designed to run across different robot hardware and tasks. The company uses simulation and reinforcement learning to transfer skills to real machines with minimal human involvement. It builds software rather than robots, working with humanoid manufacturers and OEM partners. Founded by former NVIDIA and ETH Zurich researchers, Flexion raised a 50 million dollar Series A in November 2025, led by Prosus Ventures and DST Global. It is expanding its Zurich team and opening a US presence in the Bay Area.
