Mobile Robots / AMR / AGV · Founded 2001 · Acquired
BlueBotics is a Swiss robotics company founded in 2001 as an EPFL spin-off, specialising in autonomous navigation technology for industrial vehicles. It develops ANT software enabling automated guided vehicles, forklifts and mobile robots to localise and navigate using natural feature laser-based technology. The core technology achieves ±1cm/±1° accuracy, requires minimal infrastructure changes, and enables vehicle commissioning in days. Over 7,000 ANT-driven vehicles operate across 2,000+ end-user installations, covering 150+ vehicle types. BlueBotics was acquired by ZAPI GROUP in February 2022 and now operates as a subsidiary whilst maintaining its independent brand and engineering team.
