eCential Robotics designs, industrialises and sells an open, unified robotic surgery platform for bone surgery. The system combines 2D/3D imaging, real-time navigation and robotics in one platform, with the aim of becoming the standard in the operating theatre. Founded in Grenoble in 2009 as Surgivisio, the company has FDA clearance for its platform and a US headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee. Its systems serve spine, cranial, traumatology and orthopaedic procedures. Reported figures include more than 3,500 surgeries, over 15 clinical and industrial partners and more than 100 registered patents. Enovis announced a binding offer to acquire the company in September 2026.
