AMI Labs is a Paris-headquartered frontier AI research lab founded by Turing Award winner Yann LeCun and CEO Alexandre LeBrun. It builds world models that learn abstract representations of real-world sensor data and predict action outcomes, so agentic systems can plan safely. The company says its work targets industrial process control, automation, wearable devices, robotics and healthcare. It plans to license its systems to enterprises in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and biomedical sectors. AMI announced a $1.03 billion seed round in March 2026 at a $3.5 billion pre-money valuation. Investors include Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Bezos Expeditions, NVIDIA, Temasek and Samsung. The team operates across Paris, New York, Montreal and Singapore.
