Agricultural Robotics · Founded 2016 · Series A
Fieldwork Robotics is developing what it describes as the world's first autonomous raspberry harvesting robot. Its modular, four-armed machines use AI-enhanced 3D cameras, sensors and machine learning to pick soft fruit at roughly the speed and quality of human pickers. The company aims to lower the harvesting cost per berry and give growers more predictable costs, with a focus on reducing waste. It is based in Cambridge and works across the UK, Portugal, the USA and Australia. Growers are the core customers, and the company has partnered with Costa Group in Australia and signed a collaboration agreement with Burro. A June 2026 round from SEED Innovations and a £3 million scale-up package, including £2.2 million led by Elbow Beach, are funding its move to farm adoption.
