Adexis is a London-based frontier robotics lab building what it calls a somatosensory cortex for physical AI. Its focus is giving machines a sense of touch so they can solve dexterous manipulation. The team describes its work as visuo-tactile world models that predict how the future will look and feel. The company was founded by Bill Leaver, formerly of Synthesia, together with Thomas Varsavsky.
