AITAN develops edge AI robotic weapon systems and autonomous drone platforms for military and defence applications. The company unifies drones, sensors and autonomous systems through a vendor-agnostic command layer, AI autonomy toolkits and an SDK for domestically developed models. Formerly known as eyesAtop, AITAN was founded in 2015 and rebuilt under new leadership in 2023. The platform has logged over 500,000 operational combat hours with the Israeli Defence Forces and is expanding to allied nations. AITAN raised $41 million in Series A funding (its first significant round), bringing total capital raised to $54 million. The round was led by Deep33 and Dell Technologies Capital.
