Forgis is a Zurich-based industrial software company founded in 2025 by Federico Martelli, Camilla Mazzoleni and Riccardo Maggioni. It builds an intelligence layer for factories, connecting machines from different vendors, pulling data from internal systems and cameras, and running ML models directly on production equipment. The company aims to make Western manufacturing competitive by bringing AI-driven automation and optimisation to existing factory ecosystems. It licenses its software to industrial manufacturers, with work underway in automotive and advanced manufacturing. Forgis raised a $4.5 million pre-seed round led by redalpine in November 2025, with backing from Massimo Banzi of Arduino and Venture Kick. It has been recognised in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe and has pilot projects with major European manufacturers.
