Verity AG is a Zurich-based company building autonomous indoor drones that scan warehouse inventory. Its cloud-based platform uses self-flying drones to automate stock counts, aiming for near-perfect inventory accuracy in large facilities. The company was launched in 2014 out of ETH Zurich and has systems installed at 30 or more sites across 13 countries. Its clients reportedly include IKEA, Maersk and UPS. Verity's Series B round totalled CHF 30 million, or about $43 million once extensions were included. Investors include A.P. Moller Holding, Exor Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures.
