Embotech is a Zurich-based Swiss company spun out of ETH Zurich in 2013, developing safety-certified Level 4 autonomous driving systems for industrial logistics. Its Physical AI platform combines AI-based prediction and planning with a deterministic safety layer certified by TÜV SÜD. Its Automated Vehicle Marshalling solution moves vehicles autonomously in automotive plants and vehicle logistics centres, with the company reporting over 3,500 vehicle movements daily. Its Autonomous Tractor Solution targets ports and yards. Embotech raised CHF 23.5 million in Series B funding in December 2024, led by Emerald Technology Ventures and Yttrium, to expand in Europe and then the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
