Sevensense Robotics
Zurich, Switzerland
Mobile Robots / AMR / AGV · Founded 2018 · Series A
Sevensense builds Visual SLAM and vision-based spatial intelligence for industrial vehicles. Its Alphasense Position and Autonomy products give AGVs and AMRs camera-based localisation and navigation, while the Alphasense Tracker retrofits manually operated forklifts with real-time location tracking. The company was founded in 2018 as an ETH Zurich spin-off and is headquartered in Zurich. ABB acquired it in January 2024, and it now operates as a dedicated ABB Robotics business unit. Its customers include logistics operators, flooring and cleaning machine makers, and forklift fleets, with deployments at ABB, Troax, Fust and ABB Smart Power. Products are infrastructure-free and integrate with VDA5050 fleet systems.
