Serve Robotics designs and operates autonomous sidewalk robots that make short-distance deliveries for restaurants and retailers. Its robots carry food and goods to customers while moving alongside pedestrian traffic, and the company builds both the hardware and software behind them. The company was spun out of Uber in 2021 and has deployed more than 2,000 robots across the United States. It supports delivery for over 4,000 restaurants, with merchants paying no extra fee for robot-delivered orders.
