Senior Software Engineer - NEURAGym (human)

About the role

\n\nYour mission & challenges • Designing and taking ownership of domain-driven services on AWS, from API design through to production operations. • Implementing self-contained services, including the full range from Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and application code up to monitoring, logging, and security controls. • Building type-safe APIs and publishing SDK packages and supporting tools such as CLIs and frontend applications. • Designing data and processing workflows for handling and analyzing large volumes of data, including automated management of metadata and storage, to support AI-driven systems. • Continuously improving system reliability, observability, performance, and developer experience. • Supporting teams with architecture, infrastructure, and automation challenges and collaborating with cross-functional AI, robotics, and product teams. What we can look forward to • 5+ years of experience developing modern software systems in a DevOps-oriented environment. • Strong programming skills, ideally in TypeScript and Python. • Solid understanding of software architecture and system design, e.g. domain-driven design, self-contained/service-oriented systems, and clean architecture. • Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, with deep expertise in serverless and managed cloud services being a strong plus. • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar frameworks). • Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, including build, test, and deployment automation. • Strong experience with Linux-based development and deployment environments and container technologies such as Docker. • Experience with ROS or robotics software stacks is a plus Strong English communication skills, German is a plus.
