Industrial Arms & Cobots · Founded 2021 · Series A
Tutor Intelligence builds general-purpose robots that work in factories and warehouses, sold as a deployed service rather than hardware alone. Its flagship robots include Cassie, a single-armed palletising and case-picking robot, and Sonny, a mobile dexterous robot aimed at e-commerce fulfilment. The company was founded out of MIT CSAIL and combines a foundation-model research lab with an operations business that keeps robots working in customer sites across the United States. Pricing is usage-based, from $14 an hour, with support and model updates included. Customers range from family-owned manufacturers to Fortune 50 third-party logistics providers. The company is headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, and raised a $34 million Series A in December 2025, bringing total funding to $42 million.
