Black-I Robotics develops Fullscope, an AI-powered mobile robotic arm for warehouse automation and mixed-case palletising. The system combines a heavy-lift robotic arm with an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) to handle complex picking and pallet construction tasks autonomously. Their solution targets logistics and manufacturing facilities where labour shortages are acute. Each robot can replace two to five human workers per 24-hour shift, constructing 1-ton mixed pallets with 100 items in approximately 18 minutes with high accuracy. The company leverages proprietary AI vision systems, 360-degree sensing, and redundant obstacle avoidance. Originally developed for the U.S. Department of Defence, the technology has been refined through commercial partnerships with Fortune 50 corporations and won Chewy's autonomous picking challenge.
