ADASTEC develops an SAE Level-4 automated driving software platform, flowride.ai, that lets bus and commercial vehicle OEMs build automated, shared and connected transit vehicles. The platform includes a driving stack, a central control layer, an open cloud API and passenger applications, and is designed for serial production with by-wire systems and factory fitting. The system runs on a sensor suite of five Ouster LiDARs, six cameras, high-precision GNSS, automotive radar and ultrasonics, and supports mixed traffic, bus stop handling and all-weather operation. Deployments include Stavanger in Norway, Arlanda in Sweden and Michigan. Its customers are transit agencies and bus manufacturers, with partnerships including Karsan. The company is headquartered in East Lansing, Michigan, with R&D in Istanbul and EU offices in the Netherlands.
