Gritt is an AI and robotics company building infrastructure faster, starting with utility-scale solar construction. Its system attaches to common equipment such as rented vehicles and robotic arms, using off-the-shelf hardware rather than proprietary robots. The system handles pick-and-place, transport and assembly, with verification and planning being added. Founders Puneet Puri and Vishal Dugar are Carnegie Mellon-trained roboticists. Gritt says it is working with three top-10 US solar EPCs, with contracts covering about 2.8 GW of installs. It is expanding into data centres and large infrastructure.
