Aeva builds FMCW 4D LiDAR sensors that measure range and velocity at the same time, along with onboard perception software built on its own X1 processor. Its portfolio spans long-range automotive sensors, short-range wide-view sensors for physical AI applications, and Eve 1 laser speed sensors for factory automation. The company's customers and partners include Daimler Truck, Bendix, Nikon, and a European automaker, with work also reported in rail automation and defence-related infrastructure. Aeva has recently launched an optical connectivity business for AI data centres. Based in Mountain View, California, Aeva listed on the NYSE through a reverse merger with InterPrivate Acquisition Corp in 2021 and now trades on Nasdaq.
