Mobile Robots / AMR / AGV · Founded 2021 · Series B
DeepDrive is a Munich-based high-tech company developing electric motors, centred on a patented dual rotor, radial flux machine. Its drive units target electric vehicles, and in 2026 are targeting robotic joint modules with its Dual Rotor technology. The company says it is co-developing with eight of the world's ten largest automakers, with first series production projects planned from 2028. It has also said its motor platform now powers robots, a move into mobile robotics that its own site describes. DeepDrive raised a €30 million Series B in September 2024, led by Leitmotif, following a €15 million Series A in 2023. The funds are being used to build in-house production lines and industrialise the technology.
