Astribot (星尘智能) is a Shenzhen-based embodied AI company founded in late 2022. It builds the S1, a humanoid robot with rope-driven, cable-actuated arms designed around a combined hardware and software architecture for AI. The company sells its robots and a toolchain with APIs, simulation support and VR teleoperation data collection to universities, research institutes, data-collection centres and AI model developers. It also positions its T1 model for researchers and developers in North America. Recent funding has been strong, with a 1 billion yuan round in October 2026 valuing the company at about 15 billion yuan. Earlier rounds brought the total raised to roughly $149 million.
