Beyond Honeycomb is a Seoul-based food-tech company building GRILL X, an AI grilling robot that cooks meat automatically to chef-level quality. The founding team includes former Samsung Electronics specialists in food science, AI and robotics. The system uses molecular sensors to analyse Maillard browning, juiciness and char in real time, adjusting the cook to deliver consistent results. It is compact, mounts on wheels, runs from a standard 220V socket and is customised per restaurant. Customers include restaurant chains, hotels and barbecue outlets in Korea, with the company reporting over 100 clients. It is preparing North American supply and global expansion.
