Optonic GmbH is a Freiburg-based supplier of 2D and 3D image processing and control solutions for industrial automation. It was formed in 2020 from the merger of isys vision and Ensenso, bringing decades of vision know-how together. The company develops and sells Ensenso stereo 3D cameras, complete camera, lighting and software systems, and Mikado camera-guided robot control for bin picking. Its robot control software is designed to work with all common robot manufacturers. Optonic serves manufacturing, automotive, electronics, logistics and pharmaceutical customers, and also trains integrators in bin picking. It is a Bronze member of the A3 association and a member of the German robotics association DRV.
