Swarm Aero is a defence technology company building large uncrewed aircraft for swarm operations. Its Gamera Group 5 UAS is designed for heavyweight, long-range strike payloads, with a claimed range above 9,000 nautical miles and a modular architecture for kinetic and non-kinetic effects. Its Legion command-and-control and autonomy system lets a single operator manage dozens of heterogeneous unmanned systems across domains. The company says Legion has been deployed internationally and used in recent Navy operations. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Oxnard, California, Swarm Aero serves the US military and allies. It raised a $35 million Series A in March 2026, bringing total capital to $59 million, and is scaling manufacturing in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
