STARK is a Berlin-based European defence technology company building AI-enabled, software-defined unmanned weapons systems. Its portfolio includes the Virtus loitering munition, the Vanta 6 unmanned surface vessel, the Minerva command and control software, and the Cascade and Gambit systems. The company was founded in 2024 to address urgent operational demands exposed by the war in Ukraine. STARK sells to European armed forces and NATO allies, positioning itself around sovereign defence capability. It reports that over 45 percent of its spending goes into research and development.
