Reliable Robotics builds the Reliable Autonomy System, a flight automation platform that lets aircraft operate without an onboard pilot. The company says the system is the first certifiable by the US Federal Aviation Administration for fully automated aircraft operation. The technology is aircraft and airspace agnostic, aimed at both commercial cargo and military applications. Its aim is to make flight safer, more available and more affordable. The company is based in Mountain View, California, and was founded in 2017. In April 2026 it announced a $160 million round led by Nimble Ventures, which it plans to use to scale production and expand its facilities.
