Scout AI is a defence technology company building Fury, a robotic foundation model that acts as an embodied AI brain for unmanned systems. The model lets operators command heterogeneous ground, air, sea and space robots in natural language, and it runs at the edge without cloud connectivity or GPS. Fury is hardware-agnostic and built from commercial off-the-shelf components, with vision-based passive sensing that needs only a single RGB or thermal camera. Its Ox orchestrator is a command-and-control layer for autonomous vehicles. The company was founded in 2024 by Colby Adcock and Collin Otis and is based in Sunnyvale, California. It booked $11 million in Department of War contracts in its first year. In April 2026 it closed a $100 million Series A, co-led by Align Ventures and Draper Associates, following a $15 million seed round in 2025.
