KUKA Robot Automation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is the regional arm of the German KUKA Group, operating from Puchong, Selangor. It serves as the Southeast Asia regional sales office and technical support centre for KUKA across Asia Pacific excluding China. The subsidiary sells KUKA industrial robots in a range of payload and reach configurations, along with robot systems and automation solutions. It works with system partners and integrators, and a Penang branch opened in 2025 to support northern Malaysia's high-tech manufacturing base. Its customers span automotive, electronics, plastics, metal processing and general manufacturing. The wider KUKA Group, now majority-owned by Midea, reports sales of roughly EUR 3.9 billion and around 14,500 employees.
