Cornerstone Robotics is a surgical robotics company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Hong Kong, with a manufacturing base in the Greater Bay Area. Its flagship Sentire surgical system is a laparoscopic platform combining a multi-arm robot, a 3D endoscope and software for complex minimally invasive procedures. The system is designed in-house and has secured market approval in China, the European Union and Singapore. It is used across urology, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, gynaecological and thoracic surgery. The company has three global R&D hubs and six business centres. In September 2026 it announced a strategic partnership with Medtronic, which will invest around US$700 million and distribute Sentire outside the US in approved markets.
