Skydio builds autonomous flying robots, including the X10, R10 and F10 Lightrunner, and the software that runs them. Its Skydio Command platform manages missions, docks and fleets at scale. Its core customers are public safety agencies running Drone as First Responder programmes, alongside utilities, infrastructure inspection teams, and defence and national security users. The company says more than 1,500 public safety agencies use its drones. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, Skydio manufactures in Hayward. It is the largest US drone manufacturer and recently raised a $110 million Series F at a $4.4 billion valuation.
