You will take ownership of the physical structure of autonomous surface robots, designing mechanisms, enclosures, mounts and sealing so they can be built and serviced again. You will prove designs through prototypes, fixtures and outdoor tests, working alongside electronics and software colleagues on layout, cables and water and vibration issues.
