Parametric builds Bit, a manipulation robot that learns repetitive work such as box assembly, packing out, taping and folding. The company says the robot's autonomy rose from 0% in February 2026 to 75% of robot time in July 2026. Parametric runs its own fleet software, Bastion, to monitor robots, handle interventions and manage policies. Its training data comes from over 130,000 manipulation episodes and more than 3,500 hours of real-world robot operation. The company is a public benefit corporation based in San Francisco and backed by Y Combinator. Its product roadmap runs from a static torso through to the Bit 1 model.
