SYOS Aerospace designs and manufactures uncrewed vehicles across air, land, sea and subsurface domains, including fixed-wing and heavy lift UAS, UGVs, USVs and UUVs. Its AAIMS autonomy layer is an open, platform-agnostic control system that runs across the whole portfolio. The company is dual-headquartered in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with manufacturing in Fareham, Hampshire. It was founded in 2021 and says it is one of the world's largest makers of uncrewed surface vessels. Customers include the UK Ministry of Defence, the New Zealand Defence Force, and civil and commercial operators in emergency response, offshore maintenance, agriculture and border protection. In September 2026 it closed its first institutional round, a convertible note led by NZVC and Outset Ventures.
